These Terms of Service (Terms) are an agreement between you and Kente Labs Limited, a company organized in Hong Kong (Kente Labs, we, us, or our), governing your use of Emochi, our iOS and Android app and related services (the Service).
By creating an account or using Emochi, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms do not limit rights that cannot be waived under the law where you live.
Emochi is a self-reflection and wellness app. It lets you create text or voice reflections, transcribe recordings, receive AI-assisted emotion insights, view personal reports, set reminders, and interact with Mochi.
Emochi is free at launch. We may offer paid features later, but we will show you the price and applicable purchase terms before you buy anything.
We may update, add, suspend, or discontinue features as the Service evolves.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms to use Emochi. The App Store content rating does not change this requirement.
You are responsible for providing accurate account information, keeping your credentials and devices secure, and promptly telling us if you suspect unauthorized access. You must use the Service in compliance with applicable law and applicable Apple App Store or Google Play terms.
If you record another person or submit information about them, you are responsible for obtaining any permission required by law and respecting their privacy and other rights.
You retain ownership of the reflections, recordings, and other material you submit (Your Content). Kente Labs does not claim ownership of your personal reflections.
You give Kente Labs a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, transmit, process, analyze, and display Your Content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, maintain, and improve Emochi and provide its features to you.
You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit Your Content and grant this license.
Emochi may generate emotion labels, scores, observations, insights, reports, summaries, and other personalized results (Results). To the extent Kente Labs has assignable rights in Results generated specifically for you, we assign those rights to you.
AI-generated material may not qualify for copyright protection and may not be unique. Results can also be inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading. You are responsible for reviewing them and deciding whether and how to use them.
